BFBL Southern Illinois is operated by Food Works, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a sustainable food economy in Southern Illinois.

This chapter encompasses the 31 lower counties of Illinois and includes the cities of East St. Louis, Edwardsville, Belleville, Carbondale, Mt. Vernon, Marion, and Metropolis.
